Since 1971, Eagle Nest Golf Club has been a staple of the Grand Strand golf scene. Designed by Gene Hamm, this 18-hole public course offers a blend of natural beauty and strategic play. Set on 250 acres of gently rolling terrain, the course features fairways lined with towering Carolina pines and picturesque water features adorned with cypress and willow trees. With the addition of the “Perch Tees,” the course can stretch to 8,168 yards, making it one of the longest in the country, while still offering shorter tees for players of all skill levels.

Good conditions and course was in great shape. Sometimes the “fleecing” by the cart guys gets annoying; they are always hanging out, ready to tackle you and hold you down while another one cleans your clubs which you never asked to be cleaned, and then they expect a tip. Ridiculous. I would have given it a “5” if it weren’t for the cart guys.
